The Borneo Tropical rain forest resort is located in Miri, Sarawak, Malaysia. This natural resort lies in the tropical forest next to the Lambir Hills National Park. This place is just 30km away from Miri city and is spread over an area of 700 hectares. A large tractor-driven passenger trolley will take you around to enjoy the scenic beauty of the resort. The 30 feet deep man-made lake is an amazing sight. Next to the lake, there is an animal farm which has over 600 goats, hens and rabbits. There is also an agricultural farm which grows all types of vegetables, dragon fruits, orange, coconut and pepper. The lake was built by digging 30 feet deep with a circumference of one kilometre to harvest rainwater. It is also used for fish farming. The best thing about the resort is that one can enjoy the wildness of the place without fearing attacks from wild animals. For those who love walking around, there is a walk bay built naturally only with wood. The wood used here is prepared from the saw-mill inside the resort.
