An adventurous trip to the world of wild animals and that’s what Tholpetty wildlife sanctuary is to its visitors. Those who love to watch animals can utilize the safari provided at the sanctuary. We can reach here through Mananthavady via Katikkulam road. On the way, we can also visit the famous Thirunelli Temple or have some tasty unniyapams at Kutettan’s shop on the left side. To enter the Tholpetty sanctuary, we need to get the permission of the forest department. The visiting time here is in the morning 7am to 9am and evening 3pm to 5pm. Jeeps and guides are available to take us into the forest and show us around. Tholpetty lies 42km away from Kalpetta, 59km from Bathery and 25km from Manathavady. The journey through these roads are refreshing and energizing.
