Dubare Elephant camp and River rafting Karnataka

Dubare is a forest camp on the banks of river Kaveri, Karnataka. The place boasts of an enchanting landscape. Here, you can indulge in rafting through the steep waterfalls and strong waves in the river by using a rafting boat. You need to be physically fit and adventurous to participate in this daring sport. The fee is Rs.150 for half an hour rafting. Dubare is also famous for its elephant camp.
To reach here, drive from Kushal Nagar via Siddhapura route and soon reach Dubare which is 15km away. Here there is an elephant training camp which is under the Forest department. Here elephants are fed, bathed and trained by the mahouts. The visitors too can enjoy all this with the help of the mahouts. You can also watch how these elephants are trained and take selfies with them. A boat ride from Dubare will take you to this camp.
