Sukho valley is situated at the border between Manipur and Nagaland. There are two ways by which one can reach here. The entrance gate is Vishavema gate and the exit door is Jameca. Through a road from Manipur road which is found out recently also leads to Sukoth valley. Valley enriched with the beauty of nature. It's also known as the valley of North East.
The word Sukho is derived from Angama and Mavo and it means cold water. Mavo is a place located in Manipur just before crossing Nagaland lake. Angami is occupied by Naga tribals. June to September is the best time to visit. To protect ourselves from cold all the necessary clothing has to be bought while visiting here. From Kohima camp site Vishema village has to reached to start the Sukho trekking. Sukho valley is situated almost 17km from here. For a long distance there is forest, sand and rocks, and the way is really narrow surrounded thistle forest just enough for one person to walk. Water and light food has to be carried.
Natural beauty in its essence can be seen while walking past the mountains. It's the best place for nature lovers. There are many things to be watched such as hills, streams, dead trees etc. Even though it's cold the scenic beauty at 5am is really beautiful to be watched, snow capped mountains and down at the valley ice covered land is beyond description
