If there is a plan to visit Sea during holidays with minimum expenditure, Dubai Ferry service is the best option. It will give an opportunity to have a ride to deep sea plus gives a chance to enjoy the beauty of Dubai from Sea side. It has got a capacity for 100 passengers at a time with facilities to capture outside photos even though it's air conditioned. The journey starts at the terminal behind Merina Mall and it covers Burj Al Arab, Atantis, Dubai World, Dubai Port, the journey takes almost 1.5 hours to reach Gubaibha terminal which is close to the Bur Dubai Metro Station (and returns back). From Merina there are three one way route services in the Morning at 11am, 1pm and 6.30pm. During public holidays and others holidays there will be change in the time schedule. Since only very few boats are used for these services the journey and the timing can be availed only from the terminals. Children have to pay only half the ticket fare. A minimum number of 10 people are required for the initiation of services. If there is no boat service while returning, Metro can be relied upon. During New year and when there are Fire works in Dubai, Ferry services will be there at night also. The tickets has to be booked in advance for that.
