Travelling via Suryanelli route from Chinnacanal, you will soon reach the Fort Munnar Hotel. As you continue your journey, you will see the ATM of Indian Bank. Turn right to continue your journey to reach Singakandam. This road leads to Tamil Nadu border. The road has lush green grassland on both sides. There are also a few trees here and there. This region is where the elephants come to have a good feed and rest. A beautiful place with almost no human settlement, this is a region that lies close to the forest area. The roads are narrow here with the tall grass hide the view at the turns. There is a beautiful lake here at Singakandam. The pristine clear water in this lake reflects the blue sky in it. It gives an amazing feel of white clouds floating down into this stunning lake. This marvellous place is situated across the Anayirangal dam.
