Dzukou valley is situated 30km away from Kohima town in Nagaland. This valley is one of the best trekking spots in India. Dzukou which lies 2438m above sea-level, gives a breath-taking view of mountains around. The pretty wild flowers and the swirling streams make Dzukou a paradise on earth. During spring season, which is the best time to visit Dzukou, the entire valley is carpeted with wild flowers like lilies and the wild rhododendrons. During monsoon, the valley is adorned with euphorbias, aconitum and hundreds of other species of flowers and plants in varied colours.
