It offers a stunning view from the top. We can see the green lush paddy fields with zig zag road networks and bridges from atop which is 400m above sea level. Sunset viewed from the top of Anangan mala is something we need to experience at least once in our lifetime. Climbing the hill is an adventurous activity. So, it’s usually the youth who love to do trekking here. Families too can have an easy access without climbing the hill to the top summit as there is a viewpoint at 200m from where they can enjoy the cool breeze and the picturesque view below. There is also natural water fall at the bottom of this rock mountain. A 10km ride from Ottapalam will take you to Kottukurissi where this captivating hill is situated. The government has declared this place as an eco-tourist area. So, remember not to pollute the spot with plastic waste.
