If you are a person who enjoys the scenic beauty from above small small hills and peaks, you should definitely visit Kudremukh. The journey through the green shades of hills towards Kudrenukh wouldn't let anybody sad and it's the third highest Peak in Karnataka. The view point from top and from somewhere in the middle are the important attraction from above. It's situated in Kudremukh national park in Chigmanguloor district in Karnataka and it's about 1894 meters in height.
It's part of western ghat. For trekking entry pass has to be taken from the forest office situated at the valley. All those carried along the journey has to be bought back. Forest department charges Rs.425 for the trekking which includes the trekking fee and the charge for the guide. Not sure whether there is trekking allowed during summer season.
