Thollayiram Kandi is a natural ware house of forest resources.  This mysterious forest lies 2okm away from Kalpetta. From Chundel, take the Mepady- Chooralmal- Soochipara route. Once you reach the Kallaadi Makham, you will see a small bridge. Once you cross the bridge, turn right and ride through the narrow uphill road. As you move along, the tar road ends and the concrete path begins. The roads are difficult to use for vehicles other than bikes or four wheelers. The path passes through a dense beautiful forest. On the way, you can see lovely cascades and creeks, lots of birds and animals. Soon you will reach a huge mount from top of which you can a spectacular view of the landscape that includes a beautiful stream flowing down the hills and a stunning waterfall.
