It takes about 50 minutes to reach Bangaram island by speed boat from Agatti in Lakshadweep. Public are not allowed to live here. With a circumference of just 24 km, this bewitchingly beautiful island boasts of a serene lagoon with crystal clear water surrounded by a coral reef. Completely under the control of the Lakshadweep government, this tourist spot has 30 cottages and only the resort employees and their families live here. The staff are very friendly and the food is delicious at the squeaky clean restaurant.
The candle light dinners on the beach is an unforgettable experience. Like other islands, here too you can find many water sport activities. You are free to move around be it day or night. Since it is a tiny island, people are seen greeting one another with a cheerful face. Since there are no vehicles honking or polluting the air or causing blockade, the place is so quiet that you can calmly and peacefully enjoy spending time here.
