Chathurangapara is a beautiful village in Idukki district. The main attraction here is the hilly region with plenty of wind mills. This region is however a part of Tamilnadu and hence only they have the right over the electricity produced here. It offers a picturesque view of the Tamilnadu Kambam Theni villages. You can stand under the wind turbines and enjoy the beauty of the region as much as you wish, without any disturbance. This place offers a sight like the one we see at Ramakkalmedu. Yet this place is not as popular as Ramakkalmedu nor has the state government provided any proper facilities for tourists visiting here. This place has a good scope for nature tourism. The wind speed is high just as in Ramakkalmedu. The view of natural hills and lush green fields is breath taking from the top of this hill. Chathurangapara route lies about 52km away from Munnar.
