Narakkal is a seaside village which invites you to taste mouth-watering varieties of cuisine prepared with fish. The Matsyafed Aqua Tourism Centre lies just 1km away from Narakkal town. The Narakkal beach lies just 200m away from here. If you are travelling from Ernakulam town, take a 12km drive from the High Court to reach here. This magnificent farm lies in a massive 50 acres of land. The entry fee is Rs.200. Once you enter the farm, you can spend your time there till 6 in the evening. The ticket fare includes the price of lunch, ice cream and boating.  A very colorful bridge awaits near the farm through which we can enter the centre. There is a large brackish water pond here in which different species of fish like Karimeen (pearlspot), mullets etc. are cultured.  If you are tired, you can relax on hammocks tied to coconut palms or the concrete benches with palm roofs. You can also watch the beautiful birds resting on the woods in the water. This mesmerizing aqua farm and its brackish waters along with its alluring beauty is more like a beautiful poem written on aqua greenery
