Seychelles is a group of 115 islands with a population of only 97000 people. So, it’s a home of numerous beaches.  More than the local population, you will find tortoises here in Seychelles. Although it’s a part of the African continent this amazing group of islands lie in the Indian Ocean. Though it lies secluded from other countries, this paradise island is conquering the world with its warm and friendly natives.  To understand why they love nature so much, we need to know what their main occupation is. The natives here do not produce anything. Their main source of income is tourism.
It is no wonder that they have realized how they can use tourism to earn a livelihood. The roads here are narrow but the people here keep it extremely clean; something we usually do not expect from an African community. Since the country entirely depends on tourism, we do not need a visa to fly over here. If you have a passport, a return flight ticket and a hotel booking, you can visit and enjoy the beauty of Seychelles. Mahe is the biggest island as well as the administrative centre for Seychelles.  This is a democratic country and hence people select the leaders every 5 years. Mahe is the only island which has an international airport. There are daily excursions to each and every island conducted by the tour agencies in partnership with the hotels here. One of the major excursion is a tour to Praslin - La Digue island. We can reach Praslin in one hour, by riding in a speedboat.  Praslin is fascinating land of beaches. There is also a jungle park where you can spend half the day relaxing and enjoying the beauty of nature. A 25 minutes’ ride will take you to the nearby island, La-Digue. Since this island is preserved as an eco-friendly island, the visitors use only bicycles to explore the island. The other major excursion is the La Moyenne and Round island trip. These two islands are famous for snorkeling. Since they are situated pretty close to the main island, it is very convenient for tourists to visit them. If you are a beach lover, Seychelles is a destination you should visit at least once in a life time.
