The leisure times of expatriates are usually spent in visiting unknown regions of the country in order to experience new sights. Al Ain is one such beautiful city which provides a feast for the eye with its scenic beauty. One such trip to the Jebel Hafeet mountain which lies at the border of two countries- the UAE and Oman is an unforgettable experience. The road here is one of the best mountain roads in the world. The road takes curves and turns around the mountain for almost 11km and this ride is a fascinating experience for every traveler on the road. The road goes winding around the mountain for 60 times before it takes you to the summit of Jebel Hafeet. Once you have reached the top, the view of Al Ain deep below is a magnificent sight to behold. If it’s night time, the enchanting view of winding roads going in curves and turns bathed in light everywhere brings back memories of a lit-up temple complex in Kerala. The best time to visit Jebel Hafeet is January-February.  The weather is extremely cold during this time just like Munnar. Staying in tents in bitterly cold weather and cooking food is something really awesome to be experienced. A trip to Jebel Hafeet is a feast for the eyes as well as soul.
