Located at a high-altitude region, Sela Pass mesmerises its visitors with the scenic beauty of snow covered mountains. This place is covered with snow most of the time in a year. This makes the spot an exotic paradise of snow. This region which lies in the eastern Himalayas is one of the favourite spot of Buddhist monks. It is estimated that there are 108 lakes around Sela Pass. According to the Buddhists, each lake has its own religious importance. Though it is extremely cold with heavy snowfall during winter season, visitors are allowed here throughout the year.
